Found this cool little quirky vid which combines Cinema 4D reality with After Effects.
It’s short but I like it. Movie: “Vanishing Point” by Takuya Hosogane (a motion graphics editor from Japan).

So Apple make the foray into the Tablet market with the release of the iPad. Looks more like a cross between an iPhone and a Kindle on steroids. Like seriously?
Also sounds like a Feminine Hygiene Product – I mean come on… Will it live up to the hype? The marketplace is so majorly full of laptops, netbooks, smartphones, homing pigeons with GPS capabilities…for fuck sake – when is it gonna end?
Isn’t the fact that we are all on call 24/7 and expected to be constantly “on” enough already? What happened to reading a good old paperback? I don’t care if it makes similar noises when you turn the digital page, it still is never quite the same…
A major drawback for me already is that the device does not support Flash. Now come on Apple… so many sites use even Flash Lite to operate sites and aspects of sites, non-flash enabled devices in this day and age are about 6 balls behind the 8-ball. For a company so innovative in some respects, one can be so backward in others (ahem*cough* the cameras on iPhones still lag behind any other device with a 5+MP capability). Understandably there are many people in the world do not use Firefox, but if you’re still stuck on Internet Explorer then good luck with that. This post isn’t really aimed at you, so you may wish to ignore it.
If you haven’t already guessed I’m a big Firefox fan and tend to use it over other browsers. Personally I try and avoid Internet Explorer, and generally only use Safari if I’m on another Mac. Firefox addicts have created a ton of add-ons and plug-ins to make your life easier and enhance your browsing.
So whilst this is not an exhaustive list, by any measure, I thought I’d share some of the handy web design / general design tools and plug-ins that I’ve come across for– take your pick. On no particular order. I may add to this list later…
Ok so I would think that Security would be over you quick smart if you were flying around the airport (all puns intended) on one of these. However the concept is kind of novel. Made as a joint project with Samsonite and Micro Mobility, I think it could be further enhanced by adding a 2-stroke motor so you didn’t even have to push.
But that is just my personal opinion. It’s another one of those gadgets absolutely perfect for rich business types who don’t have time to walk places and are always missing their gate calls. You know, the ones they call for over the PA when the rest of the plane has boarded and the Captain is ready to taxi down the runway, but they cant cuz some wanker is MIA? Yeah…that
If you are looking for ways to waste time, perhaps you could at least do it creatively.
Check out this fun little audio widget called Nudge.
Yes, Welcome.
Bienvenue. Willkommen.
Boa vinda – however your mother-tongue exclaims it.
Finally you can scream, shout and applaud – cuz finally I managed to install and finish tweaking the Brainstorm section of my site – The Design Assassin.
The place where I can cut loose, and Shoot From The Lip.
It will feature: Design related musings. Trends. Tutorials. Written Blurbs. Recipes. Whacky Stuff and Techno Chic. Anything that doesn’t fit elsewhere, well that gets lumped here too.
Sometimes an outlet for my verbal diahorrea, or a soap box upon which to lather linguistically. Other times informative discussion shall take place. Serious topics may appear. Ideas will be shared. Creative minds shall collide.
It is a pastiche of “stuff” that will kinda meld into some form of semblance when content is added. Perhaps even develop some recognisable “assassin-style” and humour.
